Gabrielle Suarez, LCSW

Gabby is a Las Vegas native who graduated from Nevada State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.


Recently, Gabby has become a board approved clinical supervisor for the Nevada State Board of Social Workers.


With broad experience in a variety of mental health fields including Adult Drug Court, Inpatient Treatment, Community Mental Health, RMH Services, homeless services, and Intensive Case Management, Gabby has a breadth of knowledge to treat her clients. Gabby specializes in self-harming/suicidal ideation, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, gender identity, stress, bipolar disorder and self-esteem issues. She specializes in adolescents & young adults from ages 14+.


Gabby describes her therapeutic approach as eclectic, and will draw from evidenced based practices such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and more to create personalized care for each of her clients. She utilizes a direct approach with a lot of humor, and doesn't believe in making the therapy experience too clinical.


In her free time, Gabby enjoys reading books and manga, catching up on anime, getting tattoos, traveling, going to rock concerts, trying new restaurants, and playing videogames.

  • Where are you located?

    I am located at:

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Hours of operation are by appointment only, but I am here from 1-7pm Mondays-Thursdays. 

  • What is the best way to contact you?

    For faster responses, email or text is preferred. 

  • Do you do medication management?

    No. If you are seeking medication management services in addition to therapy, I will be able to provide a referral or resources to trusted APRNs or Psychiatrists who accept your insurance. 

  • Do you offer family or couples therapy?

    No. I only provide individual therapy, but I can always refer to outside providers for those services in tandem with individual psychotherapy. 

  • Do you offer ADHD/Autism Evaluations?

    No. 


    But I can offer resources for providers who provide Neuropsychological evaluations. 

  • What do I expect at my first session?

    Think of it as the opening scene of your new favorite movie! We'll chat about your story, your goals, and what brings you to Plot Twist Counseling. No pressure, just a friendly conversation to set the stage for your journey.

  • How long are sessions?

    Each session typically lasts about 50 minutes to an hour. Just enough time to dive deep into your narrative without losing the plot! In person and telehealth options are available.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Appointments must be cancelled no less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time. The no-show/late cancellation fee of $75 will automatically be applied to the card on file.
